She is a former licensed hair dresser and her love for animals and her artistic background led her to become a professional dog groomer at our facility. After completing a thorough home study program for dog grooming and various online training seminars she began grooming dogs on a part time basis. She enjoyed grooming so much that she decided to quit her kennel position and moved on to groom dogs full time. She quickly built a happy regular customer base and many of her clients and their pets have become very close friends.

Tina is originally from Germany and she immigrated to the US in 1986. She is married and has a 20 year old son and a 18 year old daughter. She lives with her family in Portage and has several pets- A Labrador Retriever Mix named Jake, who accompanies her to work every day, a black domestic short haired cat named Baby and two gerbils which belong to her daughter.

She loves animals, arts and crafts, photography and she maintains several arts and crafts and pet-related websites.

Tina grooms "her" dogs in a separate building, located behind our animal hospital. This is a quieter, more home-like atmosphere and the dogs are a lot more relaxed and calmer back there.
